This project, located next to Beckenham Hill Station, involved the redevelopment of a site previously occupied by a single bungalow into a modern residential building comprising 8 flatted dwellings. The design, created by the appointed architect, divided the structure into three distinct brick volumes separated by glazed cores.

This approach reduced the building's perceived mass, allowing it to blend harmoniously with the surrounding residential properties while presenting a contemporary façade facing the station.

As the Project Manager for the Main Contractor, GMC oversaw the construction phase.

 

GMC was responsible for managing all aspects of the build, including subcontractor coordination, quality control, and ensuring the project was delivered on time and within budget. 

The project was highly successful, improving the local area and gaining national recognition, being shortlisted for a prestigious Brick Award in 2021, which highlighted the quality of the design and construction.
